The Story of my Week - Dilbert Style

Lately I've been a bit confused about ... a few things-  finances especially. We dedicated it all to God, and now what we planned isn't happening. Why? I don't know. The waiting ... it makes me wonder where I am and where I'm going...

So, to alleviate the confusion, I listed my options and singled out the best one. Then I made a plan to get there. Yup... gotta have a plan.

And I sure don't want to make a short-sighted decision based on immediate costs or rewards. When I cut corners like that, it comes back to bite me...

And then there's the aversion to predictability...

Yeah ... nobody likes being predictable.

Hi Kim,

In those times when I want to get my bearings; so I'll know where here is. I'll think, I need to plan, and then, because I can't chart my course, I find myself praying, "Which way Lord?"

I would imagine that if my life were made into little snippets of video clips, it too, would seem quite amusing to some and pitiful to others. Makes me glad, that I'm not a snippet but one of many Christ died and was raised for.

Praying that the reasons for your confusion be uncovered, that our Lord give you clarity of thought and purpose. That your financial obstacles be removed, and that God grant you peace in what appears to be a storm.

Blessings and peace.

Thanks MTJ. Insightful comment! :) Hopefully this collection of snippets is more amusing than pitiful...

Proverbs says there is a time for laughter. It also says (14:13) that "Laughter can conceal a heavy heart, but when the laughter ends, the grief remains."

One of my favorite Shakespearian lines is 'There is truth in jest'.

Thanks for your encouraging words and prayer, MTJ!
